About Our Church:

First Baptist Church of Geneseo, celebrated 150 years this last fall! God has had his hand upon this church thoughout the course of those 150 years. First Baptist Church is an old-fashioned church with a burden to reach this Quad-City area with the Gospel! We have a great vision to grow and be able to help hurting families, and individuals. We have a bus and van ministry that go out each week to pick up boys and girls, as well as adults. We have a desire to reach people from all walks of life.

The church is located right in the town-square, just blocks from the down-town area. We also recently purchased eleven acres just outside of town in anticipation of our future expansion. Our services are comfortably full right now, but the classrooms are extremely packed with faithful families and new visitors every week! 

What is going on in Geneseo is all because of God, and His mighty hand upon our church. We have been given a commission by God to occupy until He comes. We want to be a church that is working while we are waiting for our Lord Jesus Christ.
